As a child, I was introduced to American Sign Language. Years later, I completed 4 semesters of it at the University of Georgia. Though I was only required to take 3 courses of ASL at UGA, I pushed back my graduation date just so I could complete all 4 levels of ASL - I enjoy sign language that much!
