I graduated of Muhlenberg College in 2014, majoring in Physics and minoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. After having studied these three disciplines, I realized I wanted to pursue a career in computer science. I received my first taste of computer programming when I spent my summer at Brookhaven National Lab on a full grant doing physics research with one of my professors. I quickly fell in love with programming. I then spent the next summer at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, on a grant from the US Department of Energy, again doing programming for physics research. During my time in college I would tutor math, physics, and computer programming. I was given over 20 hours of training through my school's academic resource center. I tutored for 3 years in college.
