Rich

Rich C. Retired Master Teacher Middle School through Adult

After 20 years of teaching, I moved to Florida to be closer to family. Of course, I didn't start out teaching. I was a Private Investigator, a store clerk, and a substitute teacher. While subbing , I found a mentor, or, I should say, she found me. When she told me I had the potential to be a Master Teacher, I found that I could not refuse the challenge. Rather humorously, I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education before I finished my classes for my teaching certificate. In 2... Read more

Ms. Phoebe C. has been a great tutor. From college essays to job resumes, she has excelled in helping my daughter with her writing skills. My daughter has had immense success thanks to Phoebe, making it into the college of her choice and scoring a wonderful summer job! I appreciate Phoebe's patience and positive attitude towards teaching. We have had other tutors in the past who would charge 4 times as much for the same quality of instruction. We would definitely recommend Phoebe to anyone looking for writing instruction.
For my level of French, Jackie has turned out to be a great fit. After my second lesson, I already feel like my ear is better trained and I can construct very basic sentences. Because she is from Paris, I can see how my pronunciation will improve and my confidence in speaking will increase.
Jaira was very reliable, courteous and friendly, she helped raise my sons grade from failing to a B student who is still doing well in Spanish. She gave him the confidence he was lacking. Thank you.
Estelle helped my daughter with Latin. She was extremely patient, thorough and easy to work with. My daughter went from a B- average to an A- average, but more importantly, she actually understood what she was doing. Estelle is a native French speaking individual, so this was even more challenging for her, but she handled herself very well and did a great job. I would recommend her tutoring services to anyone who needs help with Latin, but probably even more for French. She was wonderful.
