I was a teaching assistant for an undergraduate math class for two semesters when I started the statistics graduate program at Western Michigan University. During that year and the following year I worked in the tutor lab helping math and statistics students. I've been helping people with math and science since high school. They're both subjects that come easily to me and that I enjoy. I still primarily teach K-12 students. I think that as kids we have big aspirations, but get discouraged because we realize doing what we want to do is harder than we thought.
