I love math, but Environmental Engineering was my first major in college. I excelled in both general chemistry courses and have been tutoring chemistry ever since. In my experience,I have found that some of the hardest topics for students to learn is electron configuration, intermolecular forces, and acid-base reactions. I have developed methods that make it much easier to learn these topics. Read more

Ivy League PhD
I have a BS in "Computer Software" (meaning programming rather than hardware design). Most of my work for the BS was actually done at the Graduate level, which makes me eligible to teach CompSci at the college level according to most accrediting organizations. Pascal was the language of choice when I was learning to program, so I had to learn it, and used it for many years until I switched to C++ and Java. It is a much better language than C for basic programming training, but lacks a standardized object oriented implementation. Read more
