Hi, my name is Carlos. I am a Sophomore Northwestern University studying Physics. I was the salutatorian of my high school and was selected as an Illinois State Scholar. I have always been passionate about teaching mathematics with my peers as well as other high school students. I am always looking to share my love and passion for mathematics with other students to help them on their high school career.
I worked at Mathnasium during the last months of my senior year and worked with 2-4 students at a time to teach them their designated math curriculum.
I have helped students with Algebra I/II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and both AP Calculus AB and BC. I have been noticed for my exceptional math skills by my school and national organization such as the Gates Scholarship. I was a part of my high school’s math team all 4 years and have won multiple First Place Awards and qualified for State Level Competitions. I have taken math courses up to the completion of Multivariable Calculus.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out, I understand how hard it can be to be in challenging math courses, but I am here to help out!
