I graduated from La Quinta high school in 2011 with a 3.8 grade point average, earning the Golden State Seal Merit. When I started college in 2011, I began instructing students at the local tutoring center: Oxford Tutoring Center Riverside. It was there that I discovered my love for teaching. For years I have taught various concepts in Math, Biology, Chemistry, and more to students of various grade levels (K-12). In addition, I also was also given the opportunity to run an after school program to help struggling students with Math 2 and Math 3 at the Riverside STEM Academy. While I was teaching at Oxford Tutoring Center, I finished my schooling with a 3.49 gpa, making it on the Dean's List multiple times. After I received my Bachelor of Science degree from UCR in 2015 as a Biology Major, I continued tutoring at Oxford and extended my services to my community.

From over a decade of tutoring experience, I have honed my teaching ability to be personalized with high quality. Since the beginning of my tutoring career, I have helped a large variety of students. From elementary kids as young as 7 years old to young adults that were in college, students sought me out for my ability to connect with them while providing excellent service.Through my years of service, I observed that there everyone learns in different ways. For example, for some students, visual aids are necessary, while clever analogies may be suitable for others. I believe that my ability to adapt to the different ways that my students learn is what makes our sessions effective. I regularly check to see if my students are following along, establishing an environment where they do not feel embarrassed for making mistakes, so we can identify and fix problems together. If my student is stuck on a certain concept, we will approach it from many different angles until we find the right fit.
