I have tutored off and on for over 20 years. I am currently a Special Education Teacher for K-6, but looking to help more students during distance learning. This is my fifth year teaching.

I love helping students meet and succeed the state standards and/or their IEP goals. I am trained in SIPPS (reading intervention curriculum) and I have a lot of experience with teaching students at various grade levels beyond elementary.

I have training and access to Bridges curriculum for all grade levels including Intervention. I understand how frustrating math can be for some students and I am willing to take the time to help them.

I have a lot of training in reading interventions for fluency, decoding, and blending as well as reading comprehension. Many of my current students are English Language Learners as well as having a disability. I can help add several supports and scaffolds in order to help your child succeed.

I also have extensive behavior training and can find ways to work with students that struggle in a traditional classroom and/or online (distance learning). I am very patient and what the best for every student I work with.
