I have 26 years of experience tutoring K-12 students in all subjects, with a concentration in math and art. My experience extends to reading, writing, grammar, and numerous vocational skills.

Teaching is helping learners acquire knowledge. Helping them to understand the context in which it is acquired, how it was acquired, and what we do with it afterward. Teaching is more than just what happens in the classroom; it is the effective, humane management of complex human interaction.

As a teacher and tutor, I strive to create a personal learning environment for each student that is motivating, supportive, and engaging. In addition, I want to make it challenging and inspiring. It is my responsibility to guide and nurture students and help them take ownership of their learning with pride and without hesitation.
