Bonjour!
My name is Laura L. and I am originally from Chicago, IL but I decided it was too cold for me there (and Paris was too expensive) so I came here to Tampa! I graduated college in December 2016 with a degree in Commercial French and Communications and a certificate in French-English translation from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I work for PepsiCo full-time, but when I am not at work, you can find me in Paris (I wish!)

After studying the French language for over 12 years and studying abroad in Paris, I have gained an incredible understanding of both the language and the culture of the French people. I majored in French in college and loved it so much that I continued my studies to further master the language and eventually receive a certificate in French-English translation.

I am the type of tutor who will cater to the needs of my students. First, we will figure out how you learn best. Is it through the use of visuals, auditory, reading-writing, or kinestheically? We will discover that first, then dive deeper into lesson planning!
