I then took some graduate courses at NYU (major: cybersecurity) before leaving to pursue teaching in disadvantaged public schools. Queen Amaya has been so great with my daughter. She knew to tackle other areas of math first which will then allow my daughter to understand math problems that are to come as she moves into her freshman year. She pushes my daughters limits and in return will give her the confidence to move forward.

My son had his first session with Queen Amaya last week and it was great!!! He really liked her and so did I. I like her method for teaching math, my son dosen't struggle too much in math but I think the sessions with Queen Amaya will help keep him on track as the lessons get a bit harder.

Queen Amaya is the ideal math coach. She's patient and doesn't mind repeating herself. She's very intelligent and was able to answer all my math questions, even if off topic. She's very funny and made learning math fun which helped boost my confidence. I look forward to our next session.

Queen Amaya is an extremely delightful person. She arrived on time prepared to work. In the one hour session, Queen Amaya identified several weakness and strengths through a Common Core assessment. She continued on to develop those weakness through the use of money manipulative and visual prompts. My son likes her and I will be hiring Queen Amaya for weekly sessions. We look forward in seeing Queen Amaya again!!
