I have been in education for 30 years as a science teacher, most of which have been spent in high school. I've taught Earth Science and Chemistry for the majority of my time at North Warren but have also taught Environmental, Physical and LIfe Science in other locations throughout my career in teaching. In addition to teaching, I coached cross country for a number of years, sharing my love of running, and also was an advisor for student council, where I had the opportunity to really get to know many of our students in a different light.

Aside from teaching, I sought out as many tutoring jobs as I could fit into my busy schedule. I love working privately with students, as I feel they receive so much more individualized attention and concepts that were quite difficult when explained in the classroom setting, became so much easier when taught to the individual student.

I have many years of experience tutoring and teaching. I also possess a lot of patience and compassion for students.

I am hoping to be able to help many students during this difficult time. I know it is quite challenging to learn with the virtual environment and trying to navigate through the many different set ups teachers have established.
