Ah Mathematics. The bane of existence for many a child. The mighty struggle of all struggles. Math can be confusing, confounding, careless, and cruel. It can make you want to grab your hair and tear it out. It can make you want to toss your textbook across the room and swear off math forever. Math can be relentless and unforgiving, if you let it. Believe me, nobody understands this better than I.

However, math can also be a beautiful thing. It can build roads, make airplanes fly, and send rockets into space. It can even help you cook a meal, drive your car, or track the stats of your favorite sports star. Math is a part of our everyday life whether we realize it or not, and that is why it is so important that you learn about it. And maybe the most beautiful thing about math is that it doesn't have to be this miserable, mind numbing experience for you. Math can be easy, invigorating, and FUN! I want to show you how.

No matter who you are or what learning differences you have, I am totally confident that I can bring you clarity in whatever math subject you are studying. I care deeply about my students and I believe in my heart that anybody can succeed in math with enough effort. I will work with you, guide you, and motivate you to reach a deeper understanding and appreciation for math.

I have tutored several students with ADD, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyscalculia, executive functioning challenges, test anxiety, twice exceptional, and a host of other learning differences. Basically the whole gamut. I will bring plenty of experience and knowledge to the table to ensure that you are the most successful that you can be.

Hi, I'm Greg, and I was the nerdy kid. You know the one. The guy with dorky clothes, dorkier glasses, and A's on all his assignments. Instead of having awkward interactions with all the cool kids, I was studying with my nose buried in a book. I was fascinated by the world and always curious to ask more questions.

Nothing has changed about that. School always came very easily to me because I had a

Beyond getting all A's in math when I was in school, I also worked as an engineer for several years, which is very math intensive. I have been able to successfully integrate those experiences into my teaching. So not only do I know the math inside and out, I know how to teach it so it is easily understandable. I am certain I can help you improve your grade in Algebra 1.

I have a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. The coursework involved in that degree entirely revolves around Algebra, Geometry, and advanced Calculus mathematics, so I have a thorough understanding of Algebra 2 and all of its concepts because I use them ALL the time. I have tutored many students to successfully raise their grades in their algebra courses through my dedication and deep understanding of the subject matter.

As an Electrical Engineer, nearly all of my engineering classes centered around advanced calculus mathematics (this was in addition to all the actual calculus courses I was taking), so I have a solid foundation across all calculus concepts. I also spent the last 3 months relearning AP Calculus AB and BC just so I could provide a better experience to you. I believe periodically going back and reviewing calculus is requisite to providing the best service I can.

Amazing tutor! Highly recommend!

Greg has been a tremendous help to my 6th grader learning basic 6th grade math. He is not easy to teach and Greg was patient and great with him and they got so much done! Greg also tutored my 11th grader in Pre Calculus numerous times. His grade improved dramatically since he began tutoring with Greg and his confidence level in the material is so much stronger. Greg is always on time, always prepared and extremely knowledgeable. He is able to help my son understand all the math problems he struggles with and they have a good time while learning. We highly recommend Greg!

Math is no longer a struggle!

My 12 year old daughter has been working with Greg for several months. We are very pleased with his work. Math was a bit of a struggle for her the last few years and that changed after hiring Greg. Greg is great at figuring out where my daughter needed to go back and review fundamentals in order to set her up for success down the line. He has also been creative in keeping her engaged during their lessons.

Very patient

Greg has worked with my daughter for a month or so and is very patient with her. She is somewhat resistant to doing the work and he is incredibly kind and takes time to listen to her. Would recommend!

Fabulous All Around

Greg has been more than helpful. He was encouraging, kind, and reliable as well. Working with Greg helped my son score a 9 in both math sections on his ISEE! All in all, it was a great experience with great results! I highly recommend hiring Greg as a tutor.

Excellent tutor

Greg has had five online sessions with my children. We never met in person but made a great connection in the online sessions. Greg is a devoted, kind, and very knowledgeable tutor and my children have truly enjoyed working with him. I warmly recommend him.

Best tutor ever!

Greg is really incredible. My son went from C+ to A in one semester. The most important part is not the grade, is the quality of tutoring and the kindness and patience Greg has towards my son and family.

Greg is positive, organized, and very effective

Today's session for my 11.5 year old was great. She dreads (hate might be closer) Math, but he made her feel better about herself and her skills right away and I know our summer training plan to beef up skills will be successful.
