Learning a new language is the same as learning your first language, which is based only on repetition.
I recommend that students to not get discouraged. We are capable to learn Spanish or any other subject.

PRACTICE is the key!!

Disclosure: I always welcome new students and have many long-term students. However, I do have a cancellation policy, for no shows more than 10 minutes late a cancellation fee may be applied. Please always attempt to reschedule or cancel your class 24 hours in advance. I understand last minute changes happen and will evaluate them on a case by case basis.

Emogdia taught me what I needed to focus on which is training. My ear and training my tongue and mouth to make the Spanish sounds correctly. She gave me multiple specific easy to access resources for homework and continued learning.

Excellent Spanish tutor

Emi has been tutoring my son for several weeks for third year high school Spanish after we realized he didn’t have a sufficient foundation from his previous years to be successful in his class. We found her through a recommendation from a neighbor whose child has also worked with her remotely. My son has learned so much from her already and now has the second highest average in his class! Emi is patient and encouraging, and manages to get even a quiet 15 year old talking. She really helped focus on specific topics where he didn’t understand, and even sent extra resources throughout the week to help him practice before a test and reinforce what she had explained. My son was having a hard time following the explanations his teacher gave, and having Emi there to explain the concepts in a way that was more understandable has been such a big help. We will continue to work with Emi throughout the year to help him practice speaking and gain more confidence. I highly recommend Emi to anyone who wants to improve their Spanish speaking and comprehension, kids or adults!
