Bio

I've been tutoring math for the last 20 years. My style of tutoring depends on your goals. If you need to prepare for a specific exam, need help with a homework assignment or want some support and clarification for an entire semester, I'm your man. I graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor's Degree in mathematics applied to statistics. I am currently an adjunct instructor at Gateway Community College. The Algebra section was recently expanded to include basic College Algebra. To test these skills, the SAT employs two different question types: •Multiple-Choice •Grid-Ins The multiple-choice questions carry a .25-point penalty for incorrect answers. Fantastic Tutor!

I've only had one session so far, but felt very comfortable and encouraged. Sometimes, I wouldn't know where to start on a problem and he helped me through every step without making me feel stupid. I even hurt my arm the night before our first session and was in a sling. He wrote everything for me as I asked him to - he literally was my right hand! Talk about going above and beyond. I'll continue to work with him through the end of this course.

Very thorough, accountable, and a great sense of humor!

I didn't contact Daniel until about a week and a half before my algebra final. I still had a chapter test to get through on top of it all. I had my reservations about him understanding the material because of a prior bad experience (with a different tutor) but he completely understood the material. I had failed 3 tests before meeting with him but even in the insane crunch of finals, he was easy to get a hold of and helped me to pass both my chapter test and my final when I was literally hanging on by a thread. He's EXTREMELY knowledgeable, easy to work with, and has a great sense of humor which I feel makes math a little more enjoyable! I would recommend Daniel to any of my friends and family!!
