My name is Mike and I am interested in working as a tutor for accounting and related academic courses. I have tutored for three years in college, and also have much experience teaching in the business world, having worked as a CPA for the past 15 years. I have strong subject knowledge with accounting, Excel, and many business related courses, and I am very good at breaking down subject matters at a level that others can understand. Excellent help for getting through the Financial Accounting beast!

I am in the Duke Fuqua EMBA program, and have had a very difficult transition into Financial Accounting. Mike has been wonderful helping me gain the understanding I needed to be successful - and survive what I consider the hardest class I have ever taken. His knowledge of accounting is fantastic, and I really feel like I have a strong understanding of the subject after spending several tutoring sessions with him. He is always available and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you 'get it.' I wholeheartedly recommend Mike for anyone taking an accounting course. In fact, if I have difficulty with my next course (Managerial Accounting) you can bet I will give him a call again.
