Hi, I am a tutor with a decade of experience, primarily in English courses and test preparation. I am a professional writer who has to submit work, so I understand the importance of writing according to specific criteria. I also work as an editor, giving me an edge on being able to refine essays properly. I graduated as a Scholar with Honors, with a perfect mark in my AP Language & Arts course. I have taken a plethora of AP courses, as well as the SAT, and ACT, giving me a wide range of first person experience.

I pride myself on my patience and kindness. My style involves both keeping students engaged, and ensuring their skills are developing in a timely manner. Using easy-to-understand explanations, I can describe high-brow reading passages with ease, or deconstruct essay questions. Students that I work with find themselves not only understanding important information, but enjoying the process of learning it. I ensure that they are able to explain the content back to me, preparing them both for tests and for practical application.

I assist with homework, essays, coursework comprehension, projects, and research papers. I help students whether they have their own work to complete, or need help using essays and in-lesson assignments of my creation. I have worked with students to apply for scholarships, workshops, internships, and honor societies.
