I have been tutoring students of different levels on and off since high school. In high school I taught a peer beginner's French and World History. In college I have tutored middle school students in Math, Science, Social Studies and English. As a Frequent tutee myself, I understand that one on one instruction can be intimidating. But I can also tell you honestly that there is no faster way to learn a language or skill.

I have been studying French for ten years. In this time I studied abroad twice and this year I graduated from Grinnell College as a French major.

History has always been an obsession for me and I will do my best to make history compelling and comprehensible for you. I will also teach you the tools of historical study that I learned at Grinnell College.

If you study French with me, I will do my best to help you read, speak and write French like native speaker and I will do so with the patience and perspective of a English speaker. If you study world history with me, I will teach you our planet's story from a variety of perspectives and give you the tools to investigate further yourself.
