I have 3 years of training as a Sunday school teacher. I taught pre-school, and 5th & 6th grades. I love the opportunity to mold a young mind, and to help them understanding the concepts that I am teaching. My students asked great questions in class. If I didn't know the answer on the spot, I would research the question for the next class.

I have 1 year experience organizing, and teaching an ESL class to adult students. We based the class on conversational English. We all agreed that from the beginning of class until the end, that only English would be spoken. We worked on what different words mean, and how to correctly phrase the word to convey its true meaning. I loved helping my class to understand the English language as they were adjusting to a new life in the USA.

I have no formal training, but, what I do have is a willingly heart to teach ESL. When a student sees that a teacher/instructor/tutor is invested in them, then they are motivated to learn the principles being taught.

My experiences make me a valuable history teacher. With my seminary degree/background, I have a Master's degree in the Bible, which I believe is the ultimate history book. While at Northeastern University, I was a political science major before switching to psychology. I am well read, and have studied many of the religions of the world. I have studied political philosophies.

As a student, you time is valuable as is mine. I will approach each of our sessions with that in mind. I promise to give each, and every student my best.
