Received "A" grades as a student through High School Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry.
Master's degree in Reading, which included a great deal of work in English, Writing, Spelling, Phonics, Vocabulary.
Part of my studies in Graduate Education focused on spelling. I also won the school spelling bee in 6th grade!
I created, developed and implemented Study Skills workshops for community college students in Westchester, and have tutored students from elementary school age up through college age, and even adult learners, in Study Skills.
I am retired from full-time work and have flexibility in my schedule, and I am highly motivated for continuing to help students learn and improve their skills, as I have done my whole career as a teacher, counselor and tutor!
