I'm a certified paraprofessional who has worked, tutoring and teaching, in public and private school settings. I've also provided instruction in private homes. I believe my students get more out of their lessons when I make learning fun and we have a good rapport.
I have 9 years' experience assisting pupils in mainstream classrooms, helping them to stay on task and not fall behind in their daily subjects. I've been involved with students who have had emotional disorders, ADHD, and autism spectrum classifications. I have also taught in many one-on-one and small focus group situations.
Elementary Math- I have a huge amount of patience and understanding and a great sense of humor.
English- I'm very detail oriented, I enjoy reading and have great spelling and grammar skills.
Science- I'm very interested in saving our environment and I like creating fun, teaching experiments.
It has been so rewarding to see the progress my students have made in achieving their personal goals, while substantially improving their standardized testing scores. I enjoy hearing parental feedback, which allows me to better evaluate your children's learning requirements.
