I ran cross country and track and field for all 4 years at Okemos high school in Michigan, for 2.5 years at the University of Illinois, and then while living in Germany where I made the finals in the regionals for the 1500 meter event. As a result of my strong mentoring and coaches, who themselves were Olympic athletes, I have a very strong basis in the sport and look forward to sharing it with you.
