Hello everyone!

My name is Alexson and I am a Manufacturing Process Engineer with my B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida. Chemical engineering employs many principles of physics, chemistry, algebra, trigonometry, calculus and numerical methods heavily so I've had ample exposure to each of these subjects both throughout my years of schooling and as a practicing Chemical Engineer working as a Manufacturing Process Engineer.

Even before college, I had been taking Chemistry courses since my freshman year of high school and began taking Calculus and Physics courses since my junior year of high school (and tutoring for both ever since), so I'm pretty well-acquainted with a majority of topics in those subject areas. Throughout much of high school, I was enrolled in higher level math and science Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses and was able to graduate in the top 3% of my class and was awarded an AP Scholar with Distinction by the College Board and was nominated as a semi-finalist for both the National Achievement Scholarship through the College Board and the Ron Brown Scholars Program.

I've been told by both peers and clients I've helped in the past that I have a very effective way of dissecting, analyzing, and explaining different subjects and concepts in ways that eliminates their much of their confusion. My approach is basically seeing how the student would attack a certain problem, finding the faults in their methods, and trying to explain the correct method of problem-solving in ways that would be most relevant and/or comprehensible to them.

Ultimately, I truly enjoy being able to share my knowledge with others and giving them the opportunity to understand concepts as well as I feel I do. I truly believe that every concept is graspable, as long as you give it the time and effort that it demands.

Great Tutor; Knowledgeable and patient

Made sure to review what we went over. Started with basics and started buliding on what he said. Made sure that it was just him doing the problems but engaged me in the process too.
