My high school junior really enjoyed her first session -- Meredith was patient, thorough, regularly checked for understanding, and had my daughter set the pace. Meredith reached out before the session to get relevant background information and arrived very prepared and knowledgeable. My daughter was definitely feeling much more relaxed and confident at the end of the hour, and is looking forward to working with Meredith again soon.

Meredith was wonderful with my daughter Emily, a high school freshman, helping her with Algebra I. Emily was struggling with Algebra all year and my only regret is that we did not find Meredith sooner. She helped Emily improve her grade over the past quarter and helped her with Math confidence. Moreover she was very friendly and appreciated how Meredith would talk to her about things she enjoyed at school such as sports. I can't say enough good things and will definitely be reaching out to her again when Algebra II comes along.

Meredith helped me with my algebra class, im terrible at math and when i did not understand a concept she would always find a way to explain it in another way so that i could understand it. she helped me fill in the gaps that i was missing, and i feel much more confident in math thanks to her, if i need more tutoring in the future ill definitely come back!

Excellent math tutor!

My daughter has now had a few lessons with Meredith and I can already see how much more confident she is in what she has learned. She would always get nervous during tests and after her first session with Meredith she did better on an Algebra 1 quiz than she had done the whole year. My daughter enjoys her sessions with Meredith and tells me after each one how she now understands the concepts so much more clearly than before. Meredith's math knowledge is extensive, but it's not just that - it's that she makes the sessions interesting, she has an abundance of patience, and she has the ability to identify what is going to most helpful for the student, and focus on that. Very patient, knowledgeable and engaging tutor

Meredith has been working with my high school freshman on Algebra 1 and she has been so helpful and patient. Our son understands the basics fairly well but tends to want to rush through the problems and not show his work. She is a master at getting him engaged without making him feel bad and already in just 3 sessions he is getting his homework done either on time or even early. We will definitely keep working with Meredith! She is an amazing math teacher and great with kids too.
