I later obtained a Data Services Specialization from the Medical Library Association (MLA). I have experience mentoring students and teaching small groups. In past jobs, ranging from academic research to public libraries, I have been responsible for maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting and providing user assistance for Apple computers. I am familiar with the system architecture and file organization of Mac OS X and FreeBSD, the UNIX variant upon which it is based. I also familiar with Mac hardware configurations on Macs, iMacs and Powerbooks, including storage, memory, expansion slots and other interfaces. This experience and expertise would allow me to assist students with Macintosh issues at any level and virtually any context.

Amazing tutor !

Rick worked with my son for a full school year on a research project for his AP research class . He is incredibly intelligent and diligent person and took my sons project as if it was his own. He put so much time in working with my son during lessons and also took time outside of the tutoring sessions for research and planning for the next lesson . My son said he learned so much more from Rick then from his teacher for this class in school .
