Hi, my name is Joel. I'm from Australia and now I live in Hawaii. I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts, where I studied philosophy, history, Latin and Ancient Greek. I am an author who has written 4 books. I taught English as a second language for 4 years to non-native speakers in Germany and Japan. Hi, my name is Joel. I'm from Australia and now I live in Hawaii. I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts, where I studied philosophy, history, Latin and Ancient Greek. I am an author who has written 4 books. I taught English as a second language for 4 years to non-native speakers in Germany and Japan. I have also taught primary school students from K-6 diverse subjects such as Latin and chess. I have experience teaching both classes with 10-20 people as well as one-on-one sessions. I have taught all range of ages (elementary school to adults) throughout my teaching and tutoring career. I have also worked as a professional editor, copywriter and proofreader for over 16 years. I have also tutored privately one-on-one throughout the years.

I love writing! That's why I have published 4 books with many more to come! I'd be happy to help you sharpen your writing skills, whatever subject you are studying and whatever report, essay or paper you have to write. After lessons with me, you can expect your writing to be more polished and professional, thus impacting whomever reads your work more deeply. I also teach subjects such as history, geography and mathematics. Additionally, I enjoy helping non-native speakers use English fluently and confidently. I teach with a mix of grammar and conversation, helping you learn new skills and develop confidence (and mastery!) in a fun way.
