Hello, My name is Miss Jennifer and I love helping students become excited about learning while having fun during instruction. I am a certified General Music Teacher and have taught in many NJ and PA schools and facilities over my career.. I am also Certified in Elementary Education and have been tutoring students in Math, English, Language Arts , Music and History.

I have always enjoyed teaching classes of students, but working one on one has been even more rewarding for me. I can really get to know the student’s personality while assessing their educational needs to enrich their instructional sessions to it’s fullest potential. The student can thrive with individual tutorials and can become a more enthusiastic life long learner.

I have had many years experience teaching in my own classroom and as an individual tutor. I have gained strong classroom behavior and time management skills, efficient lesson planning for children if diverse backgrounds and learning abilities and techniques that help the student find enjoyment in any subject matter.

I have always had a strong background in children’s literature since my mother was an Elementary school Librarian. I have three children of my own who are avid readers where books are still abundant in my home. I try to enhance reading literacy and comprehension lessons with passion and connections to the student’s interests.

I have taught students the joy of performing, and making all varieties of Music . I have conducted many recitals, concerts and plays and try to bring out each student’s confidence and potential when participating in a concert or even a tutoring session!

I can help any student enjoy learning while utilizing patience, compassion and creativity. Self confidence and comprehension can develop quickly in any subject matter when the child is supported and encouraged.
