I was most recently CEO of Fluent Forever (a language learning app). I have almost 30 years of professional programming experience, including years at Microsoft and Adobe Systems. I have years of experience training and hiring professional teams. I love helping people achieve their goals and discover what they are capable of.

I was originally a self-taught coder, starting at a young age. I then went on to get a A.S. degree in Computer Science and the my first job at Microsoft. I've spent years learning how to build better code, better products, and better teams.

I participated in the Microsoft TEALS program which gave me the opportunity to teach AP Java to high school students for two years. The program is not just about teaching the students, but teaching the teacher, so they can take over at the end of that time. It was an amazing experience and one for which, my TEALS team earned an award.

I love to code and it kind of feels like a superpower. I love sharing that superpower with anybody who's looking to learn more. I started by writing games for myself, then discovered that programming is often more interesting than the games I was writing. I am motivity by my curiosity and questioning assumptions.
