While there I played in the GRAMMY - nominated Concert Jazz Band along with other ensembles. I am currently the house saxophonist at BB King's Blues Club in West Palm Beach where I also write the horn arrangements. In addition to teaching privately in the area, I also teach at the Superior Academy of Music. Artists I have worked with include Dave Koz, Bruce Hornsby, Chris Potter, the Count Basie Orchestra, and Patti Austin. I teach saxophone and piano as well as arranging, composition, and music theory. I have a two camera setup at home that provides a top down view of my hands and an audio interface that allows for clear communication for online lessons. ***Saxophone Lessons are only online and Piano Lessons are mostly online. In person piano is a possibility but dependent on location and students will be charged a higher rate for travel time.***

Effective and Exactly What I was Looking for

If you want a personable teacher who really knows his music (he can equally competently teach piano, saxophone, theory and software production -- all at a high level), Patrick is a good bet. In my case, I got more than I had expected. Every question I have asked him, whether it be about songwriting software or what chord to use in a song or what kind of mouthpiece for the saxophone gives it the best sound, he has been able to answer like it was his thesis topic.

Very patient

Patrick is a great tutor! He is patient and takes enough time after the lesson to discuss student's progress. He records at home the example pieces for student. From his own practice experience he knows exactly what student needs! He teaches the technique, he shows the difficult part and plays together with student. My son loves him!
