For almost 20 years I have been teaching and tutoring students of various ages and abilities. My areas of expertise include English, writing, reading, and courses in the humanities like psychology and sociology. For almost 20 years I have been teaching and tutoring students of various ages and abilities. My areas of expertise include English, writing, reading, and courses in the humanities like psychology and sociology. I never tire of seeing students hit the eureka moment, and move away from inefficiency toward mastery. It's a treasured experience that I feel honored to be a part of.

I hold a B.S. degree in Educational Psychology and a MEd in Counselor Education, both of which have provided opportunities for me to explore, learn, and love a vast array of information. My education has been enhanced by numerous job experiences including college hall director, school counselor, and as an instructor for high school and postsecondary students. I have also worked as a content writer for various organizations and online sites.

I believe in setting a thorough plan of action to tackle learning goals. Learners will gain competence and confidence when we set targets and hit them. We will begin our process by assessing our baseline - our starting point. Then we will collaborate to set measurable, appropriately-paced goals to accomplish our outcomes. We will frequently monitor progress to ensure that the student is moving toward achievement.

Let's work together to help you or your child take your learning to the next level. Reach our to me. I look forward to being a part of your support team.

Helpful and Patient

Connie definitely cares about each and every one of her students. She creates a plan specific to you and guides you through the writing process of applying to colleges or whatever your academic goals may be. I enjoyed working with Connie and she should be a therapist as well!

Good First Session

I personally like her style of gathering information, without asking directly, to help me realize that I already knew the answer all along. Looking forward to our next lesson! Thanks for being awesome!

AMAZING

Connie is amazing! She took the time to really get to know my daughter, her dreams, her struggles, and her hobbies. Her energy is very pure. The next day my daughter said I wish I can go see Ms Connie today. I’m so glad that we found each other.

Grateful.

This is one of the best things I think I have ever given to my children and there are no greater gifts than knowledge and understanding. Amazing and well done. The engagement with each one on their own level is superb. Details and ability to find the needs and bring forth solution. Grateful. Could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Mrs. Connie!
