Hey there! I'm Tyler, I studied for my Bachelor's in Communications at the University of Arkansas. Hey there! I'm Tyler, I studied for my Bachelor's in Communications at the University of Arkansas. Something I realized over my tenure was just how difficult schoolwork can be when it's being done as a requirement without any enjoyment. Some of my favorite courses and teachers over the years were people who could make even my least favorite subjects into something fun. I try to model this in my own teaching style, pulling on the love of learning that all of us have. That means that each student will require a different method that's best suited to just them. My goal with tutoring will be making that individual plan that works for each and every student so that they can learn on the terms that best suit them. That means listening to what their goals are, and discovering the plan that sets them up the best.
I have previous tutoring in a variety of writing fields from creative to even writing job resumes. I have also worked in the teaching field after my schooling and certifications in an assortment of class sizes and ages. I've helped tutor and teach kids from second grade all the way up to full adults. Outside of writing, I helped with classes specializing in several eras of history, geography, and even the physical sciences such as weather and climate. Many of these times I ended up in one on one work groups where I could help an individual student overcome the struggles they were facing.
At the end of the day I want to help put students in the best place to succeed in their studies. In an effort to do that, I easy to reach with any questions that either parents or students might have. Feel free to reach out and ask me any extra questions I haven't covered here or to schedule a lesson!
