Steve has helped me understand SPSS fundamentals. My skills in this area have been steadily improving due to his teaching. Additionally, the Wyzant feature of reviewing past tutoring sessions has helped me refresh my memory of our work together.

Patient, supportive, and amazing tutor!

Steve was phenomenal as a tutor... I previously had trouble with a biostatistics course in my program, and now, having to work on another course in data management, cleaning and updating, and coding... I began to feel very lost within the data software platform and navigating certain novel terms (on a Mac, making it more difficult to obtain certain functionalities). Steve brings great clarity and understanding of the contextual information and literacy of data/how to interpret it appropriately for analysis. Not only does he have an immense amount of background expertise working with various software systems, but he also breaks down the terminology of statistical methods as I was flustered before receiving his valuable guidance, feedback, and advice. He will walk you through your concerns and questions/steps, getting you to practice it independently to start becoming familiar with the material. I am starting to feel confident and now comfortable in the course as I continue working with him as a tutor, I CANNOT RECOMMEND STEVE ENOUGH!

Professor Steve is very kind and very passionate about teaching people the ins and outs of SPSS. He introduced me to a free software program and even took me through the steps to add it to my SPSS. In addition, he helped me to run my analysis to test to see if I had a mediating variable while helping to learn how to interpret the output.
