My mission as a teacher is to motivate and inspire students through learning by providing a safe, supportive, and creative environment that will create a life-long love of learning. My goal is to find that inner spark in each child to help them tap into their passion to become successful students. I want my students to realize they are the masters of their own success, and I am there simply as an instructional guide to help them on their way.

I teach all subjects, including reading fluency and comprehension. I am an academic support teacher trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading fluency. I currently tutor all subjects in grades K-6.

My students leave my sessions smiling and wanting to come back to learn more. There are so many wonderful ways to support students so they enjoy what they learn and my goal is to tap into each student's interests to help them connect to any material. I can teach 100% online if that is a preferred option or I can travel to the student so long as we follow health and safety CDC guidelines.

I refer to myself as a modern day Mary Poppins because I make learning fun. I also teach Performing Arts and Musical Theater, so I often incorporate the arts into my lessons. I teach with a smile on my face and in my heart. I teach with love, compassion, and full attention to the needs of my individual students.
