Hi! I'm Abbey and I'm a senior at Murray State University studying Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I have 7 years of experience with private tutoring students one on one. Additionally, I worked as an ESL Teacher's Assistant for one year at an elementary school before returning to college. I have worked with kindergarten-adults and have helped with the following subjects: test prep, English as a second language, spelling, reading, writing, math, Social Studies, and organizational skills. I also have experience working with students with the following disabilities: ADHD, ADD, autism, speech disorders, hearing loss, cleft lip, Down Syndrome, and more. I have a Spanish certificate and can tutor in Spanish as well. Helping both kids and adults in learning and confidence is my passion so feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns!

I have almost completed my TESOL Bachelors degree, have worked as an ESL assistant at an elementary school for one year, and have tutored in reading, spelling, and writing for native speakers as well as non native speakers from kindergarten to adult learners. I’m a nondenominational PK who has led Bible Studies in the past and would love to help learn more about the Bible as well!
