I am an award-winning writer with more than 25 years of experience in my field. During my time as a professional writer, I've realized how difficult it can be to develop a strong command of the English language. I had the benefit of an adviser in college who was a former journalist himself, and he taught me to be persistent and patient while chasing a story, while honing my communication, storytelling and writing skills. I also had the benefit of stellar professors in English Literature, who taught me an appreciation of, and understanding of, our great language and the many works crafted in it.
