I have taught remedial math for junior high school and even high school students and helped significantly raise their math skills. I have also worked one-on-one and in small groups with students at Sylvan Learning Centers.
I especially like to help students improve understanding of concepts and practice in accuracy for math skills. Typically, I have helped raise student's achievement test scores by 5 percentile or more per year. I like making learning interesting and helpful by use of learning aids such as mnemonics and hands on skills.
