Bio

Since 2015, I have been an AHIMA Approved ICD-10CM/PCS Trainer and obtained my Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) in 2005. I also hold the Certified Coding Specialsit Certification (CCS) specializing in inpatient coding, MS-DRG reimbursement, POA, HCC, ICD-10 CM and CPT coding systems.

Since 2015, I have been an AHIMA Approved ICD-10CM/PCS Trainer and obtained my Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) in 2005. With over 20 years of professional healthcare administration experience, I have comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare revenue industry. I have extensive experience as a Certified Healthcare Corporate Compliance Officer and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and federal Government (CIPP/G).
I hold a Master of Science in Healthcare Management and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management.

I have specialized experience in medical coding by applying Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance guidelines to inpatient, outpatient, long term care, rehabilitation, psychiatry, evaluation and management, ambulatory surgery, OBGYN, and cardiology coding. I have worked in the government healthcare environment for over 20 years and contractually, with private hospitals.

I have been teaching students across multiple disciplines to prepare for the CCS, CCA, CPC-H and CPC exams. I specifically address the knowledge gap, higher education curriculums do not provide, by teaching my students the specific knowledge needed to pass their AHIMA (CCS and CCA) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-H) certification exams. These certifications are essential in opening the doors of a medical coding career.
I have a wealth of experience and educational knowledge to rely on to ensure my students stay abreast of emerging regulatory guidance by CMS , HHS and AMA that directly impacts medical coding.

I am an active Member of American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and participate in ongoing continuous educational training to maintain my professional development.

No Knowledge of what she is trying to tutor and motivated only to charge

She did not try to explain what she could tutor and no introdutory sesssion to understand our needs. Her motivation is to only pass the time and claim the charges. She falsely calimed as if she presented practice coding cases. Most of the time she ended up saying internet issues. Disappointed to see her charging for nothing. Stay away from this tutor.

Amazing Medical Coding Tutor!

My daughter is a senior in high school and this year, she decided to take up medical coding as her elective. However, this proved to be difficult to do alone and thus, we decided to ask Audrey if she could tutor her. Audrey is an amazing tutor, no doubt.
