I attended Carroll College where I studied psychology. I went on to finish my doctorate in clinical psychology at Idaho State University and completed an internship at a VA medical center in Western Massachusetts. I feel comfortable assisting with psychology tutoring at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels. Topics I tutor include anything from general psychology to statistics and specific topics like neuropsychology.

I believe that training and tutoring is most effective when multiple examples helps students solidify and retain knowledge. For example, asking a question in several different ways, giving examples, having the student explain it back to me, etc. ensures that the information is retained, not simply "the answer" to one single form of a question.
