I worked as an English tutor back in Egypt for various age levels, particularly elementary and middle school students, before I moved to the US 20 years ago. I strongly believe that being multilingual is a powerful tool that should be considered an advantage. Meanwhile, I admit that being in a new country, learning a new language, and experiencing a different culture can be sometimes overwhelming, especially for older students. My job as an ESL tutor, along with my passion for teaching languages, is to provide my students with both academic and emotional support if needed. I will always do my best to assist my students in achieving their goals. In my opinion, learning a new language should be more fun and rewarding, rather than a burden.
