In my world, it all begins with learning the rules and applying them when you speak and write.

I have more than 15 years of experience helping people craft their words. As a former editor and now a college professor, I am most interested in helping individuals learn the rules of basic English. In the classroom, I've found that many students have strayed from learning basic English because of how it was presented to them. Learning can be fun! I take every opportunity to reach my students' needs by trying out-of-the-box methods. I believe that sometimes you have to teach beyond the textbook and incorporate real-life situations into the lesson. Every child is different. Therefore, you must teach according to their needs.
