I graduated from Qufu Normal University, majoring in English language studies. Before coming to the USA, I taught professional English at a junior college for more than ten years. I compiled a textbook for the students, and translated multiple professional papers from English to Chinese for a magazine. I was a teacher's license holder back in China. I volunteered in the University of Michigan Medical Clinic as a translator, and in math classes at multiple elementary schools. I have been teaching Chinese at two Chinese Schools and public school for eight years. I have also provided private lessons. In my class, I always apply methods that greatly benefit students, such as using flash card with color pictures, telling stories, singing Chinese songs, playing games, reading or reciting simple Chinese poems, showing short Chinese movies, using finger signs, etc. I love to teach, and I very much enjoy the time I spend with my students.
