My name is Rosemary. I currently work for Harnett County Schools. I began teaching in 2007 in special education and found that I really enjoy watching the light come on for students. Working with children has been a passion of mine for years, to include working in the Sunday School and youth Departments at my church. My name is Rosemary. I currently work for Harnett County Schools. I began teaching in 2007 in special education and found that I really enjoy watching the light come on for students. Working with children has been a passion of mine for years, to include working in the Sunday School and youth Departments at my church. I have also worked with behaviorally emotionally disabled students as well as students with learning disabilities.

I chose special education because I see it as an area where not a lot a people understand that there are just some obstacles that some children have to face in order to receive an education comparable to non-disabled students. It is challenging because one never know what to expect from day to day, however the progress and seeing the students achieve their goals is extremely rewarding.

I really enjoy the challenge of helping students that are struggling and need extra support to succeed.

I have served as a CCR teacher at an elementary school in Math using Numbers World and Reading using the Language program which are both curriculum based programs. I have also attended a readings foundations program through Harnett County Schools. I have access to the common core requirements on the DPI website and am able to teach any subject a student may need.

Super patient and so helpful!

Rosemary is a GOD send for my family. She is opening my daughter's mind to math without frustrating her which has been a difficult task for us this year. We are so happy to have found her.

Great Results

After attending tutoring sessions for over a month, my daughter's grades have improved by a whole grade in Reading, Writing and Math. I could not be more pleased with Ms. Rosemary. She is patient with my daughter and my daughter enjoys meeting with Ms. Rosemary.
