Fantastic teacher, highly skilled

Simone is great. I’m a busy professional and I’ve been trying to learn Italian for years. I did Rosetta Stone and language drills hoping to master a few easy phrases, and was frustrated when things didn’t make sense and I couldn’t make progress. Simone is so helpful and patient with the basics and helping me correct the mistakes I make. As a professor, he can also answer the technical questions I have with total confidence... he usually keeps it very practical, but’s it’s wonderful when there’s something more nuanced that he can answer in a snap. He’s extremely warm and has a great sense of humor. Our last session, he even gave me some great travel trips for a beach vacation in Italy I’m planning. We meet every week, and I look forward to each lesson. It’s a great break from my demanding job... it’s a bright spot of “me” time in the hands of a very capable teacher!

I never feel judged by Simone and always feel encouraged to learn and keep going. I think it's hard to find in a teacher or tutor when you're on the spot to learn especially a language. I love the way he teaches.

I'm at an intermediate level and our lesson was all in Italian. It was perfect for me. But his method of teaching would I think be applicable to all levels. Specifically, he would type words in the chat and send to me as I was speaking to correct my Italian and to share vocabulary words that I didn't know/remember. The written reinforcement was great.
