ASVAB

I am a Retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer and Training Supervisor specializing in military entry testing (ASVAB) and high school diploma equivalency (GED) test taking. On active duty I led 12 enlisted instructors teaching a 10-course curriculum, graduating 250 students annually with a less than 3% attrition rate. Upon initially entering the Navy, my personal ASVAB Scores were Mathematics Knowledge (MK) 68 out of 68 (99%); Numerical Operations (NO) 62 out of 62 (99%); Paragraph Comprehension (PC) 63 out of 63 (99%); Verbal Expression (VE) 61 out of 61 (99%); Word Knowledge (WK) 60 out of 61 (98%); General Science (GS) 61 out of 68 (90%); Arithmetic Reasoning (AR) 56 out of 66 (85); Electronics (EI) 58 out of 70 (83%); Coding Speed (CS) 54 out of 72 (75%); Mechanical (MC) 51 out of 70 (73%); Auto and Shop (AS) 44 out of 69 (64%). My AFQT score was 85 out of a possible 99 (ranked in the top 15% of all ASVAB test takers). I qualified for every enlisted job and school, including the Navy's top program - the nuclear propulsion field.

FEELING AMAZING

I feel like I'm learning so much in such a short period of time the details and explanations of things and being able to ask questions really does help and make a difference I feel like I'm getting refreshed on things that I probably forgot about or that linger in the back of my mind and he helps to clarify and really explain things. I like that he shows me formulas that are easier to remember and faster.

Increase to a passing score

My son had previously attempted with other tutors and was not successful with a passing score. Luke helped my son increase his scores to pass the ASVAB. He has now swore in and will be choosing his job in the USAF. This week. Thank you Luke!

ASVAB

Lukes takes the time to focus only on what you need to raise your score. Luke is very patient and knowledge. You will want to give yourself 2 - 3 weeks to prepare.

Excellent Teacher

Luke is very knowledgeable: exactly what I need to get my confidence up to take the ASVAB. Though it’s just our first class, I will be rescheduling longer sessions to accomplish my goal especially now that I know he knows what he’s talking about.

Helpful AFQT Tutor!

Luke was very helpful in my journey studying for the PiCAT. Before studying with Luke I only scored an AFQT percentile score of 31 on the sample ASVAB at the Army recruiting office. After a combination of studying on my own and only three lessons with Luke, my AFQT percentile score went up to 85 and I scored a 124 on my general technical for the PiCAT.

ASVAB tutor

Luke is helping my high school senior review math for the ASVAB. Her most important criteria is her tutor must be nice and patient. She said he is both and she feels like the review is helping.

Knowledgeable and patient

Luke is very good at explaining the formulas in a way that my son could understand. I'm grateful for him helping my son prepare for the ASVAB at the last minute. I can't wait to see how well he does on his test.

Excellent lesson!!

I absolutely enjoyed the time I had with Luke although, it was only 1 hour We broke down a good amount of questions and helped me to remember and get back into the swing of things. Luke is very patient and welcoming and my 1 hour was definitely appreciated can’t wait to book another session, highly Recommend!
