I have been teaching for most of my career and have found that I enjoy tutoring the most! I love being able to work with students one-on-one or in small group settings to help them gain the skills and confidence they need to be successful!

Working with students in one-on-one settings means we are able to tailor each session to their needs and skill levels. I am most passionate about reading tutoring and the skills needed to help students become strong readers. I am familiar with Guided Reading, The Science of Reading, and Phonics. When it comes to math and other subjects reading is often the foundation, I enjoy helping students gain confidence in their skills. As a student, I struggled with my learning due to ADHD and didn't receive a diagnosis until I was an adult. I have many coping skills and strategies that can help a student who is struggling to focus or complete their tasks.

My educational background includes an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education & ASL, a bachelor's in Elementary Education, and recently received a master's in Business.
