There is a reason Trevor has so many 5 star reviews! I have worked with a lot of great math tutors on Wyzant, and am grateful for all of their help and patience! With that said, Trevor has given me the most helpful explanations, especially in the sense of how the work I'm doing now relates to future math studies and also, HOW and WHY it is used in the real world. This is SO motivating! If you struggle to care about WHY you are doing math, this is definitely the tutor for you. He is polite, fun, has a PASSION for teaching, and remembers what you did in past sessions. Also, he is on time, and, additionally, is very professional about returning messages. I genuinely have only good things to say! If you are looking for a multi-faceted math tutor I definitely recommend him!!

Effective and engaging tutor!

Trevor is a great tutor, helping my 11th grader with pre-calculus. Trevor is kind, upbeat, patient, and effective. My son has shared that he appreciates how Trevor teaches and then gives him a chance to practice the skill live in session. This technique has really helped him learn the material. He works with Trevor weekly and I really appreciate Trevor’s flexibility, sometimes switching days to accommodate my son on short notice if he has a test/quiz coming up. You will not me disappointed if you work with Trevor!!
