I am a Secondary Ed. Social Studies major senior with experience with working with students and athletes for over 7 years at local camps. Currently, I have a 3.92 GPA and have received multiple accolades for my studies such as honors in both the Dean's List and President's List every semester. I am very familiar with test preparation and study methods that can benefit different types of learners and allow them to interpret and understand information better. Also, I have volunteer experience at the elementary level collaborating with local teachers planning, creating, and scheduling events for students to learn at.

I enjoy tutoring because it provides me an experience where I can express my knowledge with a student and help them identify what they are struggling with and find a proper solution by asking questions and communicating with them. I value trust, honesty, and respect and firmly believe being a mentor is the best way to connect with an individual allowing them to express themselves where they can relate to anything that may be going on in their lives. The best way to solve problems is to ask questions, and knowing how to communicate and relate to people of all ages provides a better learning experience.

What makes me an outstanding history tutor is I have experience gathering, interpreting, and responding to topics from a variety of subjects. Throughout my college experience, I excelled at understanding different topics such as European History whether it be the rise and fall of Rome, the Dark Ages, or urge to find China which lead to the discovery of the western world. I am also very knowledgeable in Latin American History and African History, topics that are now being introduced more and more in both middle school and high school curriculum. Some qualifications I have in history is that I wrote my thesis paper on the Atlantic Forest using original manuscripts and primary sources that have not yet been utilized by other historians.
