Hello my name is Sheyla; I am 23 years old and currently attending to Steven F. Austin. This is my last semester there. I am majoring in Advertising and minor in digital media.

I have tutored my cousins every summer. My cousin that is 14 years old has passed her task test for the last three years in math. We are still working on her English. She has problems because English is not her language and she is a child with disabilities. My other cousin is 10 years old and just passed his Star Test on math. Last year his challenge was to learn his multiplication in a week and to complete a TASK test workbook. His English is also a problem, but this year he will be going over that. I will be working this summer with my youngest cousin who is 6 years old, I will be teaching her how add and subtract.

I also volunteer at my local school. I help the adult night English class. That takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at 6-9 pm. I help the night class with the beginners in technology since they don’t understand that well and they need to know the basics of the computer. I teach them Rosetta Stone, Google map, YouTube, and etc. This year I thought them how to do a resume on Microsoft Word. It was a success. I love teaching adults the best because I have more patience with them. If you are instead in learning Microsoft: word, excel, and PowerPoint, I would be more than happy to teach you.
