I hold a Ph.D. in physics and was teaching US undergraduate and graduate students for many years. My teaching experience includes one-on-one tutoring, lectures, studios, labs, mentoring student research to help students with advanced topics for their research projects.

Having 7+ years of teaching experience as a college professor, I know how difficult it can be for students to master certain topics. They need individual attention and one-on-one interaction, which is difficult to organize at the college/university settings for all students, particularly for large classes like Physics I&II. This is why I went online to help students like you to succeed. I greatly enjoy teaching, particularly one-to-one teaching, not just because I can address specific weaknesses, but because together we can make it an exciting journey to success. Relying on your natural curiosity we will venture through the toughest topics is if we are discovering them anew. This worked very well for my students in past but was limited by class size and time.

Whether it is calculus-based physics, electronics, thermodynamics, or some other “impossible” topic, it is really just a matter of perception. Physics is not based on memorization - it relies on few logical connections. These connections, once you realize them, bring the entire picture to light. What you perceived as hard suddenly comes to focus as if it is your own discovery. Many advanced physics topics rely on math, quite heavy math. Yet even there, the trick that worked for my students was not memorization, but getting few logical relations that will carry you through impossible-looking formulas.

Our journey will involve work and will require persistence. Yet, we can make it a journey of discoveries that we both will enjoy, and that will bring you not just to an "A" grade, but to the level of understanding that will open doors to many new opportunities beyond a specific subject.

Brilliant and patient tutor!!

There are topics that Alex has worked with me on in which only a handful of professors in the country are knowledgeable. He not only understands the material, he is an excellent teacher and I have learned much with him as my tutor!!

Liv, 26 lessons with Alex

He knew everything

There was not a question that Alex could not answer, he is extremely knowledgeable, I would recommend him to anyone, I am going to keep on booking sessions with him

Giulia, 2 lessons with Alex

Very knowledgeable of Computer Science

Alex is a very good teacher. He has the ability to break down very complex information into a way that it is easily understood. I have worked with Alex many times and will continue to do so.

Great tutor

Alex help my son with very complicated material. My son was very pleased and we will definitely use Alex in the future for any programming issues my son might encounter .

Attentive and Precise Tutor

Alex and I worked on a college-level C++ programming project of mine on parallel execution. I had been stuck in the debugging phase of the project for quite a long time. Alex identified and talked me through where my errors were. I finished the project on time and because of Alex's expertise I ended up learning more about the project, which will help me in the future.

Alex was absolutely amazing helping me with some urgent C++ work for my university

I was very happy to come upon Alex's profile as I was really struggling to understand some deep C++ concepts and algorithms. He was extremely quick to digest my issues and help me wherever I needed. He is extremely intelligent and is the REAL deal. I am confident he will help you reach your goals whatever they may be. I doubt there is much of anything this man doesn't know! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

Professor Alex is very knowledge and professional

Dr. Alex explain so clear any math concept, very clear and understandable. With the step by step process, is easy to solve any math problem, do not matter the math level, the students can comprehend the concepts.

Jesus, 3 lessons with Alex

Giving and incredibly knowledgeable tutor

My experience with Alex was phenomenal. The research question I required help on was fairly niche even within my field. Yet, Alex possesses a strong command of mathematics and physics and was able to help me greatly. His knowledge of Mathematica is thorough and I learned many things from just the few sessions I had with him. He was very determined in helping me figure out the solution to my problem.

Sean, 3 lessons with Alex

Very knowledgeable and patient

Ich hade some lessons in classical mechanics and quantum mechanics. The tutor is an expert in university level physics. He is efficient in time and will explain again if asked. He will send you the working sheets which is very helpful. I am looking forward to schedule new lessons with him.

Ibraim, 9 lessons with Alex

explains physics very well

Explains complex physics topics very well and I was able to schedule a last minute session within the hour, which was very nice!
