For several years I volunteered as an ESL tutor for refugees living in the US from Somalia, Congo, and elsewhere. Since April 2013 I have served as a tutor with Wyzant, covering a range of subjects and specializing in the areas of ESL and proofreading/editing. Since 2012 I have served as a freelance editor, revising doctoral dissertations, Masters Theses, books, websites, articles, academic papers, and more.

I enjoy writing, sports, traveling, and international food and culture. I currently live with my wife and daughter in South Carolina. My wife and I are originally from Canton, Ohio.

Simply one of the most thorough, flexible and efficient editors on the platform

Adam is extremely thorough in his evaluation of essays, reports and articles. He extremely well versed in the language and notices even the smallest details in verb tense, punctuation and grammar. He makes his corrections, gives advice and teaches methods to improve writing. He does all of this while allowing the student to maintain their own writing style. 10/10 would recommend Adam to work with any level of writer. Whether the individual is a student k-12 or a grad student, there is something to be learned from Adam.
